What Parisians Are Wearing This Week

I love going to Paris for fashion inspo because no matter where you are—on the metro, grabbing a coffee, just walking down any street—people are so well dressed. With the weather being this nice lately, I just walked around and people-watched (okay, outfit-watched), and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. No fashion week, no sponsored fits—just real people, real style, and genuinely cool looks. Here’s what caught my eye this week. These are the trends that made me stare, and mentally screenshot.

Yellow and White Mix and Match

I don’t know if people are dressing to match the sun now that it’s finally back, but yellow is everywhere. And not just any yellow—I’m talking soft, baby yellow. It’s such a flattering shade, especially when paired with white. I saw a girl wearing a pale yellow sweater, with a mini white skirt and vintage sunglasses. She literally looked like the golden hour. Yellow like that does something to your skin—it glows. And in that light? Insane.

Skirt With Belt

I was waiting for the métro when this woman walked by and I swear, I’ve thought about her every day since. She had on a long black skirt, a fitted long-sleeve black top that still looked casual, and this wide brown leather belt just hanging low on her hips—almost careless, but in the coolest way. The kind of outfit that sounds simple, but the proportions, the textures, the colors… it was perfect. I tried finding something similar online, even asked AI to generate it for me (yes, I went that far), but nothing came close. She just had it.

White Short-Sleeve Blouse Top

They probably have an actual name, but I’ll stick with “white short-sleeve blouse top” for now. I saw two girls wearing different versions of it on the same day—one had puff sleeves and little buttons, the other one had lace trim around the collar. Both wore theirs with low-rise jeans, and both looked like modern-day Jane Austens going to get iced lattes. It gave total cottagecore throwback energy, but styled in a cooler, 2025 way. It’s sweet, simple, and for some reason, feels more thoughtful than just throwing on a tank.

Silver Santiag Boots For Night Out

Here I was, waiting in line like everyone does when something is actually good in Paris, and this girl walked past wearing a tight black mini and those silver santiags. The boots were loud, shiny, and kind of obnoxious in the best way possible. Everything else she wore was black, and then boom—those boots. You could hear them coming, too. She looked like she was on her way to headline her own movie. No one looked away. That’s the energy.

Big Jewelry

At a café near Odéon, I sat across from this girl wearing the most basic outfit—white tee, grey hoodie, slicked-back bun—but she had this massive silver necklace on, like something your aunt would keep in a velvet box. And it made the whole look feel intentional. That was the thing—everyone I saw this week wearing big jewelry did it like that. No big styling effort, just one giant necklace or huge earrings that did all the work. I kind of love that. Like saying “yes I wear a hoodie but I also wear museum-level jewelry with it, and what about it?”
